Martin Luff is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with nearly 30 years experience in the UK water sector, delivering projects and programmes of work, predominately related to the design and construction of potable and process water, sewage, industrial effluent, solid waste and sludge treatment facilities.
He has worked in a turnkey contracting environment for major UK process contractors, as well as in environmental and engineering consultancies, and consequently, has a broad experience which includes working to the specific requirements of a wide range of municipal, utility and industrial companies, as well as extensive experience across the whole project cycle.
A strategic and creative thinker by nature, Martin is comfortable developing and applying innovation and ‘new ways of working’, and enjoys managing teams to deliver projects involving novel and/ or challenging engineering approaches and delivery. As such, one of his current roles, as Framework Design Manager, is to oversee the roll-out and development of BIM related Digital Delivery approaches and technology across the six major water company Frameworks currently being delivered by MWH Treatment during AMP6.
