Steven Day is a founding partner of 'Project Blue Marble' - a soon-to-launch renewable energy company, based in Bristol.
He is also a trustee of UNICEF UK, part of the UN and the world's largest organisation for children, and also serves as a trustee and volunteer pilot at fly2help, a small aviation charity based in Gloucester.
Steven's career began in journalism - initially on magazines then newspapers - culminating as joint Deputy Editor of The Sunday Express. Following his time on Fleet Street, Steven joined Sir Richard Branson's Virgin, where he was a founding member of the management team which launched Virgin Mobile in the UK in 1999. After selling Virgin Mobile to ntl in 2006, he went onto to serve on the management boards of Orange and T-Mobile, which he helped merge to form EE in 2012 where he was responsible for branding.
As well as launching Project Blue Marble, Steven is studying for a master’s degree in Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge.
