Charlotte Stewart

I am a Senior Smart Water Systems engineer, part of the Water Optimisation team at Anglian Water. I’m leading the delivery of a number of Smart Asset Management projects, Condition Based Monitoring being one, but also Condition Assessment of our clean water network and Enhanced Pressure Monitoring programme which will see 100% DMA coverage of permanent pressure sensors across the region before the end of the AMP. Most importantly and relevant to this speaking opportunity is my teams delivery of Condition Based Monitoring, and the development of a proactive maintenance strategy to change the way in which Anglian Water approaches maintenance of critical rotating and pumping assets.

I’ve been with the business for 3 years now, prior to that I worked at Boots Pharmacy as a Digital Specialist delivering training to staff on the use of electronic medication management systems across the UK. I have a masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield. I am also part of the 2022 cohort of Foundation Future Leaders with the Foundation for Science and Technology.
