Dr Clare Deasy

As Strategic Catchment Manager at Northumbrian Water, Clare’s role within Northumbrian Water’s Wastewater Strategic Planning team involves catchment approaches to water management and leading partnership working to improve the environment. Clare has worked with The Rivers Trust to develop a strategic partnership and establish the North East Catchments Hub to integrate and elevate catchment activity across the North East Region, and enable capacity and expertise to support NW’s catchment ambitions to improve the water environment through collaborative catchment and nature based solutions. In addition to developing and designing catchment solutions for Northumbrian Water, Clare is a champion for the Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) and represents water companies on the CaBA national support group.
