Matthew Jones

Matthew has worked in the power and energy sector for nearly ten years, with engineering design and planning roles spanning the nuclear, oil & gas, power and electricity distribution sectors.  He led SP Energy Networks RIIO-ED2 Asset Management submission worth approximately £1.7bn for the years 2023-2028, this included the development of an industry leading asset risk optimisation strategy.  His current role is to keep SP Energy Networks at the leading edge of utilities asset management capability and to improve network safety, reliability, resilience and sustainability through ~£2bn of network investment.
