Melanie Bryce

Melanie Bryce is the Head of Network and Market Development at Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) and has worked across SSE since joining the company as a Graduate Engineer in 1996. She has wide ranging energy sector experience gained from roles that have spanned Wholesale Risk Management, Networks Regulation and Asset Management. This has most recently included leading the LEO (Local Energy Oxfordshire) Project, one of the UK’s most ambitious, wide ranging and innovative energy trials, seeking to accelerate the transition to a net zero energy system. Melanie is a Chartered Engineer and has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birmingham University.
