Streetworks Theatre

The dramatic increase in streetworks, as a result of government’s drive to invest in infrastructure, reduce congestion and provide vital upgrades on roads, has reinforced the need for utilities, contractors and highway authorities to work collaboratively to minimise road occupation and disruption. This series of seminars, taking place across both days of UWL18, will bring together senior street works practitioners from across water, electricity and gas utilities, as well as contractors and highway authorities to discuss the current and future pressures they’re facing. The Streetworks Theatre is located in the heart of the Streetworks Village, which features a showcase of the latest products and services from across the street works and ground works supply chain.
