Tania Flasck has over 30 years experience in the environmental sector and depth of expertise in water having lived and worked in the UK, Asia Pacific and US markets. She currently leads growth of the water sector for Sand Technologies (formerly ExploreAI) - providing purpose driven AI, data science and talent solutions to enterprise organisations. Tania has deep domain expertise in the water sector globally and as an environmental scientist her approach combines her front line operational experience operating water and wastewater treatment plants as well as managing water networks with upstream ecosystem thinking to ensure that data driven AI applications provide value. She has a wide range of experience at senior levels of programme and project delivery, strategic planning, business development and people leadership roles working with consultancies as well as directly with water provider organisations. She is a huge advocate for diversity and her collaborative as well as inclusive leadership style underpins the success of the teams she has worked with and leads as well as supporting ethical AI outcomes. Tania also serves on boards as a Non Exec Director with British Water (representing the interests of the UK water supply chain) and Chair of Waterwise (the leading UK water efficiency NGO).
