EGEPLAST EXHIBITS INNOVATIVE PIPE SOLUTIONS AT UTILITY WEEK LIVE

egeplast UK will be showcasing a range of innovative pipe systems at this year’s Utility Week Live exhibition (20 & 21 May 2025, NEC, Birmingham). The first company to develop barrier pipe back in the 1980s, the company has a long-standing track record of working with major UK utility, civils, construction and distribution companies.

Core products include its SLA barrier pipe system, a plastic drinking water pipe with approval for installation in contaminated soil; its 3L leak control system, a permanently monitored pipe system which reduces leakage, and its SLM 3.0 pipe system for trenchless installations.

Exhibition visitors will also be able to learn more about egeplast’s SLM® DCS and SLM® DCT pipe systems which are designed to support effective asset assurance. Both systems enable operators to monitor the integrity of pipes used for the transportation of drinking water, waste water, gas and sewage by using electrical continuity testing to identify and locate pipe damage to an accuracy of one metre.

Steven Jones, Managing Director of egeplast UK, comments: “egeplast has extensive experience of working with the utility sector in the UK and across Europe. We believe this experience combined with our innovative pipe systems and UK manufacturing capabilities makes us uniquely placed to deliver a market-leading service to UK utility companies as they strive to address the impact of climate change, deliver net zero and tackle some of the key issues facing society today.”

egeplast UK has more than 20 years’ experience of working with the UK utility sector and has played a key role in the delivery of major initiatives.
