PIPE SYSTEM INNOVATION AT UTILITY WEEK LIVE

egeplast UK Stand: J36
PIPE SYSTEM INNOVATION AT UTILITY WEEK LIVE

With more than 20 years’ experience of working with the utilities sector, egeplast UK will be showcasing its range of innovative pipe systems at this year’s Utility Week Live exhibition (21 and 22 May, NEC, Birmingham).

Core products on stand will include its SLA barrier pipe system, a polyethylene barrier pipe for drinking water that comes with global approval for installation in contaminated soil; its 3L leak control system, a permanently monitored pipe system which reduces leakage, and its SLM 3.0 pipe system for trenchless installations.

Members of the egeplast UK team will also be on hand to provide technical advice and project-specific guidance.

Steven Jones, Managing Director of egeplast UK, comments: “As the first company to develop barrier pipe in Europe back in the 1980s, egeplast has a long track record in the development and manufacture of innovative future-proofed pipe systems.  Combined with our extensive experience of working with the utility sector and our UK manufacturing capability, we believe we’re uniquely placed to deliver a market leading service to utilities companies as they strive to address the impact of climate change, deliver net zero and tackle some of the key issues facing society today.”

The egeplast team works with many of the UK’s largest utility companies and has played a key role in the delivery of major initiatives which, most recently, include the creation of a new 2km water main under the River Dee Estuary for Welsh Water and Anglia Water’s £12 million upgrade to the water network in East Ruston, near Norwich.

The company’s product portfolio includes a comprehensive range of pipe systems and related fittings.  Bespoke fittings can also be designed and manufactured at its UK factory within short lead times.
