DEKOTEC GmbH offers high quality products for passive corrosion prevention of pipelines and station construction. The company’s core business consists of the production of real co-extruded BUTYLEN 3-ply PE/Butyl-Tapes, DEKOTEC® Heat Shrinkable Sleeves, PLASTELEN® Petrolatum-Tapes & Mastics, LIQUITOL® Polyurethane Coatings, MarineProtectTM Jetty Pile Protection Systems and TOK® Bitumen profiles. The latest innovation is SEALID® - the world´s first All-in-1 corrosion protection of pipelines.
DEKOTEC GmbH belongs to the Germany-based leading group of companies which revolutionised passive corrosion prevention of pipelines across the world with the invention of the world´s first Petrolatum-Tape back in the 1920ies. For 100 years, the mother company of DEKOTEC GmbH has built a reputation founded on experience, quality and reliability in corrosion prevention and innovative sealing technology. Since then, the highest quality standards with technically trend-setting products are guaranteed. R&D and production take place exclusively in Germany. DEKOTEC products are applied in numerous rehabilitation projects and new pipeline constructions all over the world. For the TurkStream, one of the largest on-shore gas pipeline projects, BUTYLEN-AS40 Plus 3ply-Tapes and LIQUITOL®-HDD PU-coating secured the pipe against corrosion in Serbia. For recent projects in Tunesia and Qatar DEKOTEC® Heat Shrinkable Sleeves have been used for field joint coating. In France, Peru, Qatar and Pakistan co-extruded 3-ply PE/Butyl-Tapes have been employed for field joint coatings as well as for full pipeline rehabilitation projects.
Recently, DEKOTEC GmbH introduced the patented innovation SEALID® All-in-1 Tape: a universal solution for pipes, T-pieces or pipe bends. For the first time worldwide, it provides protection against corrosion and mechanical stress in just one step, without any primer or other devices. SEALID® All-in-1 offers patented safety fulfilling ISO 21809-3 and EN 12068.
