It includes entry controller duties, pre-entry procedures, entry into and exit from a medium-risk confined space, using equipment and tools safely, maintaining communications and initiating and controlling emergency procedures.
Be Prepared
Please bring with you some form of valid (in-date) photo I.D.
Courses may have an element of practical training and we may ask participants to wear a full-body harness, or breathing apparatus, climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, or walk around roof areas. All delegates must have a reasonable level of health and fitness and be able to undertake any practical element during the course.
Delegates will need to be clean shaven for a suitable breathing apparatus seal. Confined space PPE is provided for the duration of the course, however each delegate will need to ensure they have their own boots, gloves and that suitable clothing is worn.
Delegates will be asked to sign a medical declaration confirming they have no health conditions that would limit their participation on the training course. If you are unsure, please contact us before arrival.
All courses will be delivered in English.
If a delegate has any learning needs or concerns, we politely ask that you speak to the Course Trainer beforehand.
