OxyMem MABR

OxyMem`s MABR uses
hollow fibre, gas
permeable membranes
to support the fixed
film ecosystem and for direct
delivery of oxygen to the
microorganisms.
When a secondary treatment phase
already exists within a wastewater
treatment system, OxyFAS MABR
modules may be easily added to the
wastewater system to increase
biological treatment capacity.
Following primary treatment, the
influent travels to the secondary
treatment stage, where one or more
MABR modules share the process
load with the existing equipment.
The wastewater makes its way
between the wealth of fibres, with
each one supporting an established
biofilm layer where ammonia is
removed. OxyMem’s integral MABR
airlift-mix function enhances biofilm
-pollutant contact and therefore
improves treatment within each
MABR module.
OxyFAS MABR units may provide
owners and operators with a costeffective
means of increasing
effluent quality and increasing
throughput while maintaining (or
improving) the same effluent
quality, without the need for
additional tanks or modifications to
the existing assets.
