City of Houston Selects VTScada as the Sole SCADA Platform for 400 MGD Water Plant Expansion

 This project will increase the plant’s capacity from 80 million gallons per day to 400 allowing them to manage unprecedented growth and help prevent flooding by reducing dependency on groundwater. After an extended evaluation of features, licensing, and support, the City’s consultant, in collaboration with CDM Smith and Jacobs Engineering chose VTScada from a short-list of four leading SCADA products. The project is the largest progressive design-build of its kind underway in the United States. It is scheduled for completion in 2024.
