An engineering graduate from the University of Bath, Bill also holds an MSc in Energy Conservation and the Environment from Cranfield School of Management. With nearly 40 years of industry experience, he has previously worked for SWEB and guided Electricity Direct to a £250 million turnover. His executive leadership at Centrica Business Services further solidified his expertise before he embarked on founding Utilita, aimed at servicing low-income households and challenging the ‘Big 6’ energy suppliers. Utilita set a benchmark in 2005 by being the first to install smart meters in customers’ homes, revolutionising the Pay As You Go model with its proprietary technology. Over the past decade, Utilita has grown five-fold in customer base and opened numerous high street Energy Hubs. Bill's commitment to sustainability is unparalleled.
