Clare Warburton is Principal Adviser for Green Infrastructure in Natural England. She has over 20 years’ experience in the environment sector, both public and private, with a particular focus on urban greening and embedding green infrastructure in development through strategic planning and good design. She leads on Natural England’s Green Infrastructure Framework, launched in January 2023, to support the greening of our towns and cities as part of the Nature Recovery Network. The Framework sets out what good looks like for local planning authorities, developers, parks and greenspace managers and communities. It provides tools to help plan and design green infrastructure networks that deliver multiple benefits for health and wellbeing, climate, nature and the economy.
