Steve is a Senior Data Science Consultant at the Energy Systems Catapult. He is focused on optimising the utilisation of AI across the energy sector, and helping bridge the gap between academia and industry. This work includes identifying barriers and enablers for applying AI, such as data accessibility, knowledge transfer, and skills. Steve has recently worked on the AI for Decarbonisation’s Virtual Centre for Excellence, curating a list of grand challenges which will have major impact on the UK’s Net Zero ambitions.
