Zoe Frogbrook

Dr Zoë Frogbrook is Head of Environment and Sustainability for the Northumbrian Water Group. Zoë has worked within the water industry for over ten years and has experience across a variety of sectors including academic research and environmental regulation.Zoë started her career at Reading University, completing a PhD and post-doctorate research in soils and precision agriculture. In 2003, Zoë joined the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology providing technical expertise to a range of research projects. Moving to the Environment Agency Wales (now Natural Resources Wales) in 2009 gave Zoë the opportunity to ensure that science was translated into policy, providing advice and guidance to organisations including the Welsh Government and the Forestry Commission. Entering the water industry in 2012 with Scottish Water, Zoë worked across a range of areas, including sustainable land management, research and innovation, transformation and strategy. In 2023, Zoë Joined Northumbrian Water in a new role for the business and has been leading the development and implementation of their Environment Strategy.
