Emily is an experienced corporate affairs and communications professional specialising in strategic political and stakeholder engagement within the energy industry.Starting her career as a parliamentary caseworker and policy advisor, over the past decade she’s worked in off-grid energy policy, before moving into regulated energy networks (gas and now electricity). As the Head of Corporate Affairs for SSE’s electricity distribution business (SSEN), her focus is currently on leading political advocacy, stakeholder engagement and communications campaigns to influence local, devolved and national net zero policy development and delivery.
