I have over 20 years’ experience in the gas industry, starting as an engineer, then progressing through supervisory and management roles within the industry. I have worked predominantly in social housing and dealt with works ranging from annual safety check programmes to projects and service improvements. I like to keep up to date on industry challenges and changes and keen to see the development of Hydrogen use. I am currently responsible for the gas safety of around 18000 properties with believe housing and I am also the current chair of the IGEM housing partner forum (HPF). The HPF are a dedicated group of downstream gas and compliance representatives with a background in housing. The forum helps to share information and best practices, whilst looking to develop future ways of working, to help promote gas safety for all people working in a housing environment.
