Over 15 years' experience in the electrical energy distribution sector, with substantial experience of working with the connection of low carbon technologies. Current role is as DSO Technical Lead within Electricity North West. Actively involved in the development and implementation of ENWL's Active Network Management System; as well as developing the tools and processes to procure and dispatch Flexible Services. Previous to current role, worked as a network designer developing customer connections and reinforcement plans at voltages between 230V-132KV. Involved in working at a national level with other network and system operators, government, and policy makers to define new policies primarily relating to the connection of low carbon technologies to the network.
