Armed with a strong academic background, she transitioned into the electricity industry, where she thrives on the intersection of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. Her analytical mindset and attention to detail enables her to unravel complex problems and devise innovative solutions. Kirsty joined Scottish Power in 2009, where she undertook various Commercial and Market development roles focussed on the optimisation of coal, gas and hydro power stations and the development of balancing market and ancillary services.
