Mike is Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Dundee. He undertakes a mix of both academic and industrial research work mainly related to onshore and offshore energy transmission and renewable energy foundations. His current focus includes more efficient and low carbon foundations for OHL structures, development of silent offshore foundations and anchoring for floating wind turbines.
