Nigel is Head of Network Operations for the Distribution System Operator (DSO) at Scottish and Southern Electricity (SSEN). He is responsible for network access, flexible service operations, network visibility, digitalisation and open data.Nigel has been a leader in the electricity distribution sector for over 15 years through roles spanning operations, network planning and development, commercial, innovation, change, audit and regulation. He is a Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and a Master of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) from University of Southampton.
