Peter McClenaghan is Director of Infrastructure and Sustainability at the Northern Ireland Consumer Council leading energy, transport, and water teams in executing the Council’s statutory powers. He has been a prominent voice during the energy crisis.Peter previously worked as a consultant advising major GB utility companies and undertook a secondment as Head Regulatory Economist at a leading international payments company. He has managed regulatory affairs and compliance in gas distribution and supply and spent six years working as a senior policy advisor to Government Ministers and MPs.Peter is also Chairperson of EnergyCloud NI a start-up social enterprise working to use curtailed renewable energy to alleviate fuel poverty.
