Tom Burgoyne

Tom Burgoyne works in Anglian Waters Carbon Neutrality Team as an Asset Systems Specialist. He has held previous roles such as Enterprise Data Architect and Energy Efficiency Specialist. As the latter he designed and deployed Anglian Water’s award-winning Energy Efficiency Monitoring System and, more recently, he has been laying the foundations required to achieve asset data interoperability to support Anglian Waters modelling capability and data led decision making. Tom is Anglian Waters technical lead for the Climate Resilience Demonstrator (CReDo) project. This ground-breaking collaboration has expanded from its original flood use case to also explore extreme heat and is tasked with improving the water industries understanding of cross-sector interdependencies in the face of a changing climate.
