Nicole Barras

Nicole Barras is a Flexibility Commercial Manager at Northern Powergrid, the distribution network operator responsible for providing a safe and reliable distribution network for Yorkshire and the Northeast. She leads flexibility procurement and stakeholder engagement activities, working with customers, communities, local authorities and flexibility service providers to unlock local flexibility markets. Nicole is passionate about the role flexibility plays in supporting a resilient, efficient and cost-effective electricity network, helping to deliver the transition to a smarter, low-carbon energy system.
