Yuliya Khilko

Yuliya Khilko is Workforce Strategy & Transformation Manager at National Grid, where she leads initiatives focused on workforce strategy and organisational transformation. She works across National Grid and wider energy sector stakeholders to address the workforce and skills challenges critical to delivering the UK's energy transition and future infrastructure ambitions.  

Yuliya plays a leading role in cross-industry collaboration, bringing together network operators, supply chain partners, government and industry bodies to develop coordinated approaches to workforce planning, skills development and capability building. She has helped shape and deliver industry-wide workforce and skills initiatives and contributed to the development of the Electricity Networks Sector Growth Plan, shaping strategic actions to ensure the sector has access to the talent and capabilities needed to achieve long-term energy security.

With experience spanning utilities, automotive and manufacturing, Yuliya brings expertise in transformation, programme leadership, and stakeholder engagement. She was instrumental in establishing the Women Networks Forum, creating a platform for the cross-sector employee network leaders to share best practice and drive collective progress on inclusion. She also recently completed her tenure as Co-Chair of Women in National Grid, where she helped strengthen leadership development, allyship and opportunities for women across the organisation.
