Depotnet Launches DI: AI-powered intelligence across every layer of field delivery.
Depotnet Launches Depotnet Intelligence: AI-powered intelligence across every layer of field delivery.
Founded in 2011 and based in Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire, Depotnet is a UK software company specialising in field service management for utilities and street works organisations across the UK and Ireland.
Employing more than 60 people, Depotnet supports asset owners, contractors, and subcontractors across telecoms, water, power, gas, rail, EV infrastructure, and street works - helping organisations improve operational control, compliance, and visibility across live field delivery.
Building on this foundation, Depotnet has recently launched Depotnet Intelligence - a suite of AI-powered capabilities designed to transform how field teams identify risk, validate compliance, and deliver auditable work across every job.
Embedded directly into Depotnet’s field service management platform, Depotnet Intelligence enhances existing operational, compliance, and workforce workflows through real-time AI-powered visibility, validation, and risk detection across day-to-day operations.
Addressing the Realities of Field Delivery
Built for the realities of live delivery, Depotnet Intelligence analyses site imagery, operational activity, and job data in real time - helping organisations detect hazards earlier, validate work before it begins, and generate operational evidence before issues escalate into incidents, penalties, or disputes.
The first capabilities being introduced through Depotnet Intelligence focus on two of the biggest operational risks in field delivery: permit compliance and site safety.
Permit Board Scanner uses live imagery to scan and validate permit boards directly on site against Street Manager, helping prevent non-compliant work from progressing while reducing exposure to FPNs and streetworks penalties.
Hazard Detection analyses live site imagery and video during pre-risk assessments, identifying potential hazards in real time and prompting operatives to apply appropriate control measures before work begins.
Multiple Capabilities. One Connected Intelligence Layer.
Additional Depotnet Intelligence capabilities are scheduled to roll out throughout the remainder of 2026, extending operational intelligence across excavation safety, defect management, operational reporting, vehicle compliance, reinstatement validation, Chapter 8 monitoring, and intelligent access to operational guidance.
Upcoming capabilities include Hot Job Validation for high-risk excavation activity, automated detection of pre and post-work defects, irregular excavation analysis, Ask NED - an AI-powered operational guidance assistant, vehicle defect detection, instant operational report generation, and real-time Chapter 8 compliance visibility.
Together, the expanding Depotnet Intelligence suite is designed to reduce manual oversight, strengthen auditability, and provide greater operational control across every stage of field delivery.
A New Standard for Field Intelligence
Depotnet Intelligence represents a significant step forward in how technology can support safer, more accountable field delivery. Each capability is embedded directly into the Depotnet platform, ensuring that intelligence is available at the point of work - not reviewed after the fact.
Speaking about Depotnet Intelligence, Holly Dalby, Managing Director at Depotnet, said:
“Depotnet Intelligence is our chance to really showcase what we can do with the Depotnet software when we supercharge it with cutting-edge AI tools. We can't wait to demonstrate what we've created, and what this will mean for our customers moving forward.”
