UK, April 2026: Getac Technology Corporation (Getac), a leader in rugged computing and mobile video solutions, today announced the launch of CommandCore, its new rugged drone control solution.

CommandCore combines Getac’s proven rugged hardware with industry-specific accessories, payloads and software tailored to individual needs. The result is a fully adaptable UAV/USV/UGV control solution suited to a wide range of challenging environments, including utilities applications.

At its core is Getac’s Ground Control Station (GCS), a centralised hub for real-time data processing, seamless drone control in extreme conditions, and operational management. Customers can select from multiple devices, including the ZX80 and UX10 tablets, and the S510, B360 and X600 laptops/workstations.

The GCS form factor is also highly flexible, with options including fully integrated designs with built-in controls, modular setups separating device and controls, office dock configurations, and suitcase-style dual-display systems for mobile command operations.
