Spectis Robotics Reports Strong Engagement at Subsea Expo 2026

Spectis Robotics recorded strong engagement at Subsea Expo

2026, held at P&J Live in Aberdeen on 4th & 5th

of February. The event brought together thousands of professionals from the

underwater and subsea sectors and featured around one hundred exhibitors

alongside a multi stream conference programme.

The exhibition provided a focused setting for discussions on

underwater robotics, inspection systems and operational efficiency. Delegates

looked for practical approaches to subsea inspection, asset integrity and

remote operations, reflecting the sector’s growing interest in dependable and

scalable robotic systems.

Spectis Robotics delivered continuous demonstrations of its

platforms, with particular interest directed towards the PHOTON ROV System from

Deep Trekker. Visitors were able to get hands on with the technology and see

how these ROVs support safe and efficient inspection work. Engagement centred

on the wide product range on display and the ways Spectis Robotics helps

operators reduce reliance on divers, confined space entry and other high risk

environments.

The team is now progressing discussions with interested

organisations and arranging follow up demonstrations. Planning is also under

way for upcoming activity, including a Technology Showcase in the North East of

England and a presence at Utilities Week Live in Birmingham in May.

About Spectis Robotics

Spectis Robotics supplies and develops remote inspection

equipment, including robotic crawlers, remotely operated vehicles and

industrial inspection cameras. The Spectis product range has been in continuous

development for more than fifteen years.

The company provides systems for purchase or rental. These

solutions help reduce or remove the need for manned confined space entry across

a wide range of industrial settings. Selecting the right equipment is essential

for successful inspection work, and Spectis Robotics works closely with

customers to ensure the chosen platform meets operational requirements.

Remotely operated vehicles have become popular for inspections of small,

confined or submerged areas, and users have access to multiple vehicle types

and configurations.
