Butyl Products Limited, founded in 1965 and headquartered in the UK, specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of high‑performance liquid containment systems. The company operates through three dedicated divisions—Butek Tanks, Butek Landline, and Butek Portstoken—each focused on delivering tailored solutions for the water industry and wider infrastructure sectors.

Butek Tanks provides above‑ground liquid storage tanks with engineered lining systems suitable for stormwater (containing petrochemicals), wastewater, slurry, and a wide range of chemical storage applications. These tanks can be manufactured up to 5,000 m³ in capacity and 40 m in diameter, with a design life exceeding 23 years. The division also supplies the Modular Wastewater System (MWS), a flexible, kit‑form solution for the temporary storage and treatment of wastewater. The MWS is designed for planned maintenance projects or to provide additional capacity at treatment works and is available for both purchase and rental.

Butek Landline specialises in geomembrane manufacturing and installation, offering solutions such as baffle curtains, DWI‑compliant reservoir roof linings, lagoon linings, surge vessel bladders, and slurry containment systems.

Materials are selected and fabricated to meet the specific performance requirements of each project.

Butek Portstoken delivers temporary drinking‑water storage systems using

above‑ground steel tanks lined with Regulation 31‑approved materials. Each installation is designed, assembled, cleaned, and commissioned on site, providing a modular and highly effective option for planned maintenance activities where potable water continuity is essential.
