Desotec is working in partnership with Curio Water to deliver BlueBarrierTM, a new treatment process for tackling micropollutants and PFAS. This containerised solution lets utilities and industry pre-test and rapidly deploy a solution that uses the right combination of ozone, GAC and UV to tackle the contaminants of today and tomorrow.
Desotec's mobile granular activated carbon filters provide rapidly deployable GAC capacity within the treatment train, capturing PFAS and oxidised organics while offering a fully circular service model. The spent carbon is safely treated and reactivated at Desotec's facilities in compliance with POPs regulations. This approach provides scalable PFAS removal without capital-intensive infrastructure, ideal for both pilot and full-scale deployment.
