Groundbreaker

Surface mounted meter housing, such as the Groundbreaker Water Management System are becoming more widely used.  Much like the standard gas and electric wall mounted meter housings.  The Groundbreaker is a discrete housing mounted to the exterior wall or a bespoke utilities cabinet.

The move above ground has many benefits.

protecting the network by reducing the risk of future leaks at joints.

allowing water connection at any point during construction, and so taking water out of the critical path in developments.  Particularly beneficial when using modular construction.
