Meet the highly-accurate and robust Mobile Laser Detection System (MLDS) from Bascom -Turner Instruments. The MLDS features superior methane detection, simple operation, and easy installation. The MLDS achieves methane

specificity and accuracy by tuning to the strongest mid-IR absorption peak -- 100x more

intense absorption than near-IR. The single pass optical system is sensitive to better than

1 ppm methane. The MLDS takes less than  three minutes to mount onto a standard Blue Ox® front-tow hitch, allowing for safe storage

and easy transfer to other vehicles. No special tools are needed. The MLDS communicates via

Bluetooth to a PC. Survey data is automatically stored and your distance from a peak plume is

highlighted on the connected PC. The MLDS can operate at speeds up to 35 mph.
