Every Sygma CAT and Genny training course combines theoretical and practical sessions designed for operatives and supervisors who carry out excavation work near underground services. Delegates work through course content covering site plans, cable avoidance techniques, genny training fundamentals, signal generator operation, and the practical use of CAT and Genny cable avoidance tools across all four locating modes, including cat operating mode selection and cat display reading. Each session includes practical assessment elements where delegates carry out CAT and Genny work using real equipment on a live training rig.
