Since 2019 Claire has been Head of Regulation for Flexitricity, the UK’s first aggregator. She works to increase market opportunities for flexible energy as policy, regulations and codes change to accelerate a net zero future. Claire has worked in the energy industry for twelve years, covering policy and regulatory developments for technologies including demand side response, energy storage, onshore wind, and legacy fossil fuel assets. Before that, she worked for environmental NGOs in a range of external affairs and strategy roles. She sits on the DSO Review Panel for Northern Powergrid, providing independent scrutiny for customers that flexibility decision making is sound.
