Geraldine has over 27 years experience in the industry with SP Electricity North West and it’s predecessors. After various roles within the policy and standards team, Geraldine joined the innovation team in 2012 to provide technical expertise for a portfolio of low carbon projects. She provided technical input to the development and submission of flagship innovation projects and was part of the team which gained funding to deliver CLASS, Smart Street, Respond, Celsius, QUEST and BiTraDER. Geraldine is now the SP Electricity North West Innovation Development Manager and has responsibility for developing their innovation strategy, ensuring compliance with governance, stakeholder engagement, managing their Strategic Innovation Fund programme which includes preparing and submitting applications for funding. In addition, Geraldine is also responsible for the successful delivery of a number of innovation projects including BiTraDER and Net Zero Terrace.
