Emily is the Nature Strategy Manager for SSEN Transmission, and leads the team responsible for developing and delivering the company’s approach to Nature. This spans from measuring Natural Capital, to delivering restoration projects with charities, or working with Scottish Government on Nature-related policy. Emily’s career started in finance, and she is a chartered accountant by background who has moved from technical accounting, to sustainability audit and reporting and into Nature Strategy. Thanks to this background she is also the Finance Director for the UK Business and Biodiversity Forum, a membership organisation open to all UK businesses looking to do more for nature and biodiversity.
