Katharine is currently the interim Head of Future Energy Systems in EDF UK R&D. She leads a team of talented researchers on projects related to end-use decarbonization, focusing on heat, transport, and flexibility for both residential and industrial customers. Katharine has worked at EDF for 7 years, having led a number of commercial teams within the EDF Customers business before joining R&D. Following a degree in Natural Sciences and Master’s in Integrative Bioscience, Katharine worked across commercial and marketing leadership positions within large multinationals including Unilever and PepsiCo. She has held a number of international assignments in France, Canada and West Africa.
