Laura Burnett is the Climate Change Adaptation Lead at Scottish Water, where she provides technical leadership to ensure the utility adapts behaviour and assets to become resilient to climate change hazards. She combines over 15 years of asset management experience in water industry, with a lifelong interest in environmental sustainability. On the resilience stage at Utility Week Live 2025, Laura will share Scottish Water’s transformative landscape-scale approach, to bring climate change resilience for our water and waste water services. Working in collaboration to sequester carbon, halt the deterioration of raw water quality, reduce flood risk and improve biodiversity; there is nothing not to like about this programme!
