Lucy is an Innovation Facilitator and Coordinator at Northumbrian Water Group, playing a key role in managing the customer innovation portfolio and supporting R&D activity with research partners across the water sector. With a Master’s in Sustainability, Energy & Development, Lucy brings a strong foundation in addressing complex, real‑world challenges through a combination of theoretical, analytical and creative thinking. Currently developing her facilitation skills, she supports teams to explore challenges, think differently and build the resilience needed to progress innovation from concept to implementation. Alongside her core role, Lucy leads the NWG Early Careers Community, runs the Communications & Community pillar within the Innovation Ambassador network, and co‑leads the Young People’s pillar within the Women in STEM network, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving inclusivity and developing future talent.
