Becky Sweeney leads the Home Decarbonisation activities at the Energy Systems Catapult. She has extensive experience delivering multi‑million‑pound innovation programmes and developing commercial propositions across low‑carbon technologies, consumer‑focused energy innovation and pharmaceutical development. Becky also directs the development of the Catapult’s Living Lab—an agile, scalable real‑world trial environment for home energy innovation. With over 5,000 homes, smart heating controls and the capability to monitor a wide range of in‑home low‑carbon technologies, the Living Lab enables innovators to rapidly design, market‑test and launch smart energy products and services with strong consumer appeal.
