Rich has over 30 years’ experience in the utilities sector. His focus is the role of “digitalisation” in delivering the energy transition and energy’s role in accelerating climate action. He is a professional engineer by background and has spent his career working with organisations to implement transformational change. He is active in the leadership of a number of industry associations and advisory boards. Rich is a regular speaker at utility events and the author of numerous white papers and articles. Rich is the driving force behind CGI’s collaborations with Utility Week on research into flexibility, the creation of the Flexibility Forum and the collaboration with the Energy Geeks. Outside work, Rich is passionate about sport and coaches rugby. Fortunately, those activities involve his children!
