I am Dr Steven John Warwick BSc (Hons) BEng (Hons) PhD CSci MRSC IEWater FGS FRSS. I started my working life in the construction industry in 1976 working in the roads sector. During 1986 I started working in the water industry where my first job was Engineer and PM on the construction of a Car Park together with Public Amenities for fishermen and fisherwomen at Slade Reservoirs in North Devon.
Since the 1980s I have worked either directly for or with the Water Companies or their contractors. My roles extend from site based to Senior Management level for Contractors and water companies include the original pre-privatisation Southwest Water Authority, the now privatised Southwest Water, Wessex Water, Northumbrian Water and Thames Water.
My current role is Preconstruction Manager for water at Knights Brown. In addition, I have academic interests in Nature Based Solutions for wastewater treatment, emerging contaminants in domestic wastewater and future proofing wholesome water supplies.
