What objectives did you have for UWL25?
For UWL25, we wanted to do something totally different. Our goal was to stand out, showcase our full product suite, and have meaningful conversations with people across the sector.
How did UWL25 meet those objectives?
The show was the perfect platform. Our interactive, summer-themed stand gave us exactly the space we needed to connect with hundreds of people, start conversations, and share what we’re about in a fun, creative way.
What does UWL do differently from other events you attend?
This is THE utility event in England. No other show gives you such a broad mix of sectors, suppliers, digital partners, and industry experts all in one place. It’s bigger, better, and full of energy.
Who did you meet at UWL25?
We connected with over 150 people from across the sector - clients, new contacts, graduates, suppliers, and industry leaders. It was a brilliant opportunity to speak to a wide range of people, from seasoned professionals to those just starting their careers.
How did UWL25 improve your brand awareness?
With our creative stand, ice creams, and talks, we definitely stood out. People remembered us, talked about us, and engaged with our products in a way that’s hard to achieve elsewhere.
How did UWL25 help you capture leads?
We have made more than 150 connections with different companies, so it's really been incredible for us to touch base with familiar faces, also make new connections. With the volume of conversations and engagement at the stand, we collected valuable contacts and leads. We’ve already seen those relationships continuing to develop post-show.
What success stories can you share that were a direct result of UWL25?
Beyond the numbers, the real success was the vibe. The enthusiasm from attendees, the quality of the conversations, and the positivity about the future of utilities genuinely stood out. It’s been a great boost for the whole team.
Why have you rebooked for UWL26?
We're really looking forward to coming back next year. We always love coming up with creative and collaborative ways to showcase our products at UWL. So next year it'll probably be a completely different theme. We've got a bigger stall already booked. We got 150 connections this year. The future is very bright for Skewb at Utility Week Live.
