This is what Cadent had to say about Utility Week Live 2025
What objectives did you have for UWL25?
We came to Utility Week Live to show the industry that we’re changing how we manage our gas network. Historically, we’ve been more traditional, more reactive, but now we’re moving to a proactive approach. We wanted to use this event to showcase the innovative technology we are using now, and share that with our stakeholders.
How did UWL25 meet those objectives?
It’s been absolutely brilliant. We knew it would be busy, but we’ve been bowled over by the number of people who wanted to talk to us. We’ve been able to share that story with exactly the people who needed to hear it and more.
What does UWL do differently from other events you attend?
UWL is the one opportunity where we get to talk about the utilities and meet our supply chain, for example, it's great to have regulators just across the aisle from us and meet other interested parties and our peers.
Who did you meet at UWL25?
Everyone we wanted to: our supply chain, regulators, interested stakeholders, industry peers - it’s been a brilliant mix.
How did UWL25 improve your brand awareness?
We’ve had enormous amounts of traction and visibility. It’s been a great opportunity to showcase who we are and what we’re doing. Other supply chain providers were able to see what we are doing now and showed how they may be able to help us in the future too.
How did UWL25 help you demonstrate thought leadership?
We came here to tell the story of the change we’re making - and we’ve done that. We’ve had meaningful conversations explaining how we’re innovating and improving how we run our business.
Why have you rebooked for UWL26?
We are coming again because the story doesn't end there. We will have even more interesting things and developments to show, so this is the place to display our progress and take it to the next level.
